Supporting the Farmland PTA is easier than ever. Please visit our online store, where you can purchase your Farmland PTA membership for the 2023-24 school year. While you are there, consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Sparky Fund.
PTA Membership
$25 per Parent/Guardian
$4.25 of each membership goes directly to Montgomery County and Free State PTA dues. PTA membership is for one individual. Membership is NOT REQUIRED to participate in PTA activities.
Sparky Fund
Donations are 100% tax deductible* and are often eligible for employer matching fund programs. When you donate to the Sparky Fund, 100% of your donation will benefit the students, teachers, and community at Farmland.

Did you know. . .
Your $25 donation can cover the cost of STEM Week supplies for one classroom at Farmland.
Your $50 donation can cover the cost of popsicles for a Farmland community gathering at a park.
Your $100 donation can cover the cost of a school-wide event such as Walk to School Day.
Your $200 donation can cover the cost of access to an online learning platform for one class for the school year.
Your $300 donation can cover the cost of a teacher appreciation event.

Farmland PTA is a nonprofit organization and relies fully on donations and volunteers. PTA membership dues and Sparky Fund contributions support academic and classroom materials, financial and other support for school families, and a host of activities throughout the year. The PTA provides updates via weekly email newsletters and monthly meetings.

What is the Sparky Fund?
MCPS does NOT fully fund activities at Farmland, so the Sparky Fund supplements PTA annual membership dues, enabling our school community to avoid other fundraising activities like candy and wrapping paper sales. Individuals and businesses may contribute to the Sparky Fund.
