2026 Farmland Spelling Bee
The Farmland PTA-sponsored Spelling Bee is back! All interested students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade are invited to participate. The Farmland Spelling Bee is voluntary and free of charge, and the Farmland champion will advance to the Montgomery County Regional Spelling Bee!
Online Registration
Families should complete a brief online registration form to register a 3rd, 4th, and/or 5th grader: Farmland Spelling Bee Registration Form
Required Pretest to Qualify
To participate in the Farmland Spelling Bee final, students must take and pass a written pretest. Pretest will be held on the following days:
Thursday, January 8 – Grade(s) TBD (during recess)
Friday, January 9 – Grade(s) TBD (during recess)

Farmland Spelling Bee Final
This year’s Farmland finalist competition will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. After pretests are graded, families will receive an email notification indicating whether their child has advanced to the final round, so please be sure to register your child (Farmland Spelling Bee Registration Form).
